Take part in the Macmillan lived-experienced survey
As part of the Scottish Government 2023-26 Cancer Plan, we are keen to incorporate Lived Experience. To this end Macmillan have co-produced a short survey for people affected by cancer, either a patient or as a family member/friend of someone with cancer. This survey has been developed in partnership with a Lived Experience representative.
The link and instructions for the survey can be found below.
The survey will be open 22/03/2024-03/05/2024 and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Background to this project
Psychological therapies and support framework for people affected by cancer (nhs.scot)
Who provides local cancer services?
Our cancer services are provided by NHS Fife with support from the Fife Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP). Services are based across our main hospital sites, Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline and Victoria Hospital Kirkcaldy with additional specialist services provided by NHS Tayside.
We are also proud to be a part of the SCAN or South East Scotland Cancer Network. This is a very useful and informative site for anyone in Fife affected by cancer. It includes details of local services in the South East of Scotland for those who live in the Borders, Dumfries and Galloway, Fife or Lothian, and links to national cancer websites. It also provides useful video content such as Lothian's Chemotherapy Information Treatment video and links to information by type of cancer to various cancer support charities and organisations.
