Living Ceilings will be installed above 5 beds in ICU which will create a virtual outside window that adjusts brightness and stimulus throughout the day.

Sky Inside panels are luminous LED sky ceilings that enable patients to enjoy realistic, real-time, moving images of different skies. Five of these living ceilings are being purchased for ICU which will help to provide an improved patient experience and help reduce the severity of delirium which is extremely high in ICU. Through visual and auditory means this product aims to create a virtual outside window that adjusts brightness and stimulus throughout the day.

Due to the current demands on ICU the installation of these panels has been delayed.
