The Friends of Victoria and Whyteman’s Brae Hospitals was founded in 1969 and as a term of endearment has been collectively referred to as the ‘Friends’, a Committee of volunteer members comprising of NHS Fife staff and lay members representing the communities we serve.
Since its founding the ‘Friends’ has always been held in very high regard throughout the community and its success is due, not only to the hard work and dedication of its Committee through the years but, perhaps most importantly, the generosity of the people of Fife in supporting them.
Over the years these donations have been put to great use funding projects as wide and varied as The Haven theChapel in Victoria Hospital, decorating the Victoria Hospital’s Children’s Ward with bright and vibrant artwork as part of a joint initiative with students from Fife College and the introduction of the E-link system for patients in the Victoria Stroke Unit.
