To mark World Diabetes Day, to raise awareness of the condition and encourage everyone to raise funds the Diabetes Centre at the Victoria Hospital is playing host to a Star Wars themed Fun Day. Come along - all welcome but if you come in Star Wars fancy dress like our staff, you will receive a goodie bag. Lightsabers at the ready!
This event takes place on Friday 15th November 2019 at 1pm - 4pm at the Diabetes Centre Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy. To book a ticket ask at the Diabetes Centre reception VHK or the Carnegie Unit QMH - a suggested donation is 50p per ticket and getting one in advance will help the Centre with planning. Tickets also available on the day. There will be various stalls including SHWA (Simeria Husky welfare), Body Shop and the Potty Potters, tombola, a raffle, baking and watch out some special characters including Roary and Lenny Lion.
Please hand in any donations for prizes into the Diabetes Centres,
All proceeds will go to the JDRF - Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Look out for the emergency service who'll also be taking part on the day.
