The hospital celebrates its 10th birthday this month and, to mark the occasion, a garden party was held on Wednesday 11th September to which all volunteers and staff based in the hospital were invited. Also in attendance were some past staff and teams who were involved in the development and building of the hospital and various members of the Hospital League of Friends who provide year round support and fundraising.
Students from Elmwood College in Cupar have been working in the garden over the past few months and it was positively blooming on the day. Pupils from Madras High School provided entertainment both singing and playing instruments and the party was kicked off with a solo on the bag pipes. The pupils from Madras are pictured with their teachers and Karen Nolan, Community Hospitals Manager.
The sun dial shown in the picture was donated to celebrate the event along with custom made Thai Teak garden furniture. Many thanks to Proj Co and Mears for these generous gifts and their continued support of the hospital.
