16 Days of Action against Gender Based Violence
‘Never commit, condone or remain silent about violence against women’.
Staff members of NHS Fife and the Gender Based Violence team support the White Ribbon Campaign.
The 16 Days of Action is an annual international campaign that calls for the elimination of all forms of violence against women. It runs from the 25th November (UN International Day of Elimination of Violence against Women) to 10th December (International Human Rights Day).

White Ribbon Fife is a male-led campaign to end violence against women (with campaigns in over 70 countries world-wide). Violence Against Women is often seen as a “women’s issue”-and we want to change that by enabling both men and women to challenge attitudes and gender stereotypes that allow violence against women to thrive.
