NHS Fife can confirm that a staff member at Lochgelly West Nursery has tested positive for COVID-19.
As a precaution, all children at Lochgelly West Nursery are asked not to attend nursery tomorrow (17/09) and should self-isolate until Monday 28 Sept 2020 before returning to nursery on Tuesday 29 Sept 2020.
There is no evidence of any transmission within the nursery at this stage and the risk to pupils and staff is low.
Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever; or a loss or change in taste or smell; or a new and continuous cough, should arrange testing using the UK Government Citizens’ Portal at: https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or by calling 0800 028 2816.
