NHS Fife can confirm that an individual linked to Warout Primary in Glenrothes has tested positive for COVID-19.
As a precaution all pupils from class P1 are being asked to self isolate until Monday 28 September 2020 and return to school on Tuesday 29 September 2020.
There is no evidence of onward transmission within the school at this stage and the risk to pupils and staff remains low. All other children should continue to attend if they remain well.
Anyone who develops any of the established symptoms of the virus, such as a fever; or a loss or change in taste or smell; or a new and continuous cough, should arrange testing using the UK Government Citizens’ Portal at:
