Minor injuries service

If the NHS 24 healthcare professional you speak thinks that you require further clinical assessment you will be directed to the appropriate care locally. You will be given an appointment for one of our minor injuries units if your condition falls into one of these categories

  • Arm, wrist and hand injuries
  • Knee, ankle and foot injuries
  • Back, shoulder and rib injuries
  • Head and neck injuries in people who are fully conscious
  • Cuts and wounds which may need dressing and stitches
  • Minor burns and scalds

Minor Injury Services are available at Victoria Hospital, Queen Margaret Hospital, Adamson Hospital and St Andrews Community Hospital.

Open Monday to Friday 8am-6pm
