NHS Fife is running a social media campaign from today around keeping safe this New Year by limiting contact with others and ‘keeping ourselves to ourselves’. The campaign messages are delivered using common Scot’s words such as 'scunnered' and 'havering' to underline the serious message in a light-hearted way. Warnings like ‘Dinnae be gallus Fife’ remind us to stay safe and avoid large gatherings to keep the infection rates down.
Christmas bubbles will not apply at Hogmanay and New Year. Instead, you should follow the rules on meeting up and travelling for your level.
