Rona brings a wealth of Health and Social Care experience, having first been appointed to the Fife NHS Board as a non-executive member in 2014 and serving in a number of roles in over 30 years with Fife Council Social Work Service, later becoming Chair of the Fife Health and Social Partnership’s Integration Joint Board in 2016.
Rona will take over the role of Vice-Chair from Dr Les Bisset, who is to retire from the Board on 31 March 2021. Dr Bisset also joined the Board as a non-executive member in 2014 having practiced as a GP in Leven for 34 years. Dr Bisset also served for many years as Clinical Director for Kirkcaldy and Levenmouth Community Health Partnership before being appointed as Vice-Chair of Fife NHS Board in 2015.
