Entries are once again open for the UK’s most prestigious nursing awards, with the RCN Nurse of the Year 2023 award up for grabs.
Members of the public can vote in the Patient's choice award to nominate a nurse or nursing support worker who has made a difference to their lives.
The awards will be judged by an expert panel chaired by Foundation of Nursing Studies chief executive Joanne Bosanquet.
Ms Bosanquet said: ‘We know nurses in all specialties, throughout the UK, are increasingly under pressure but they continue to be exceptionally creative and innovative and deliver outstanding, person-centred care.
‘The RCN Nursing Awards are a chance to recognise those achievements and celebrate the enduring strength and diversity of our profession and its commitment to the people and communities we care for.
‘Much of this great work can be easily adopted by colleagues, so the awards are an important way of sharing effective and impactful practice so more people can benefit from nursing brilliance.’

The winners will be announced at a ceremony at Liverpool Cathedral on 10 November, including the RCN Nurse of the Year 2023, who will be chosen from the pool of winners.
