- Are you aged 40+?
- Are you sure that you are looking after your health?
The Detect Cancer Earlier Campaign wants us to consider our health and look for persistent symptoms that are unusual for us and to report anything suspicious to the GP. Possible cancer symptoms could include:
- unexplained bleeding,
- unusual lumps,
- unexplained weight loss
- or something that doesn’t feel normal for you.
The good news is that these symptoms are not something to worry about, but they could be relevant so do go to your GP if you are at all worried.
Finding cancer earlier can mean there’s more treatment options available, a greater chance of living well after treatment and better news to tell the family.
