We are offering drop-in vaccination clinics across Fife to offer protection against respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) for those who are eligible.
RSV is a common respiratory illness and can cause severe illness in some people, including pneumonia (infection of the lungs), bronchiolitis (infection of the small airways of the lungs) and other life-threatening conditions. The best way to help protect yourself against the virus is to get vaccinated.
You are eligible for vaccination against RSV if you are turning 75 years old between 1 August 2024 and 31 July 2025, or if you are aged 75 to 79 years on 1 August 2024.
Our drop-in clinics are running at the following locations/ dates:
Pitteuchar Health Centre, Glenrothes
- 12 & 13 September
- 16 & 17 September
Templehall Community Centre, Kirkcaldy
- 13 September
Lynebank Immunisation Centre, Dunfermline
- 12 & 13 September
- 16 & 17 September
St Andrews Community Hospital
- 12 & 13 September
- 16 September
Drop-in clinics operate from 9am to 4pm (closing for lunch from 1pm to 1.30pm).
If you already have an appointment for RSV vaccination, please attend at your scheduled time if at all possible.
