We recently hosted hands-on simulation sessions for local S5 and S6 pupils, giving them a glimpse into a potential career in healthcare.
Nearly 50 young people from across Fife attended and got practical experience with tasks like taking blood pressure and flushing cannulas.
Pupils met with clinical staff from various specialties, gaining insights into their healthcare roles. They also tried out a frailty suit, experiencing first-hand the challenges faced by patients with reduced mobility and impaired vision.
Organized by NHS Fife’s Practice and Professional Development Team, the sessions were intended to inspire more young people to pursue rewarding careers in healthcare here here in Fife.
