Patient Hub mobile phone showing example screen

We’re enhancing the way we use Patient Hub to communicate with patients about their appointments and care with us. Letters and supporting patient information is now available in Patient Hub when they are sent their appointment notifications. As well as being able to confirm or rebook their appointments in the system, they will also be able to view their letters and any supporting documents that would usually be sent via post.

This reduces the printing and postage cost for the organisation, as well as supporting the resource usually used for sending these letters.

This is an enhancement alongside the current capabilities of the system which include giving patients:

  • Details about your appointments which now includes letters and supporting documents
  • Ability to confirm whether or not you still need to be on the waiting list for an appointment
  • Ability to complete patient questionnaires and surveys from their device at a time that suits them

Patients are contacted through text and email when information about their care is available in Patient Hub. All patients we have a mobile phone number and/or email for will automatically have access to Patient Hub once available for your service or speciality.

Patients can opt out of this service through Patient Hub or by contacting their speciality.

Please note, if a patient does not respond to their email or text regarding their appointment, a letter will still be posted.
