Due to staff sickness, the Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) at the Adamson Hospital in Cupar will remain closed today – Wednesday 15th January 2025.
NHS Fife and Fife Health and Social Care Partnership have contingency plans in place, with the public requiring access to Minor Injuries Services being directed to the St Andrews Community hospital, Largo Rd, St Andrews, KY16 8AR, 9 miles away. The situation will be reviewed daily for the remainder of this week.
As the public are already advised, we would ask them to call NHS 24 on 111 if they need minor injuries care who will refer them to the correct location of care.
If the public have internet access, they can also use the NHS 24 online symptom checker to help assess symptoms and to find out what they should do next.
