New Art Exhibit Unveiled at Victoria Hospital
An 8 year project was completed last week when NHS Fife unveiled a series of artworks created by students at Fife College depicting old industries of Fife.
The project, funded by the Friends of Kirkcaldy Hospitals, was conceived a part of a larger project to commemorate the commissioning of Phase 3 of the Victoria Hospital, which opened in 2012.
The work depicts scenes representing the pottery, fishing, mining, linen, shipbuilding and linoleum industries.
The official handover of this work completes that three way partnership between the Board the College and the Friends.
NHS Fife Chair Tricia Marwick thanked everyone involved in this work over the years and said the Board was proud to add these works of art to its collection.
