Getting to the Hospital
By Public Transport
The hospital can be accessed by bus, with a large number of services stopping at two new bus stops close to the entrance of the new wing.. Direct services from various parts of Fife call at the hospital. In addition, buses run every 10 minutes from Kirkcaldy Bus Station and Railway Station (Mon-Sat, daytime) and every 30 minutes (eves & Sun).
Pick up a copy of our public transport leaflet from Council offices, Bus Stations and Tourist Information Centres or from the publications section below or find services in your area using our Journey Planner.
Cycle racks are available in the hospital grounds. For information about cycling routes near the hospital visit www.cyclefife.com
By Ring & Ride
Ring & Ride is a service for people who stay within the Kirkcaldy area and find it difficult to use ordinary buses. For more information call 08451 55 11 88 or visit www.fifedirect.org.uk
Parking space is limited around the hospital. You may draw up at Car Parks C, D, G & J (see our parking map for location details) to drop people off. However, you must move your car as soon as possible to the car park. This avoids blocking access for ambulances. There are two car parks at the Lauder Road entrance. Wheelchairs are available in the main entrance and also from the Outpatients Department.
Full information about available parking is available on our Parking pages.
If you find it difficult to use ordinary buses, you can find out which operators have wheelchair accessible vehicles by calling 01592 583370.
