Haematology/Oncology Unit - Queen Margaret

Haematology/Oncology day unit service which provides treatments and investigations of haematological conditions, blood transfusions and cancer treatments including chemotherapy. There are 10 patient chairs in a bright and spacious treatment area and an outpatient waiting room. Qualified nursing staff are trained in the specialist administration of chemotherapy drugs.

Visiting Times

No restriction as visitors can attend at anytime during opening hours 830-430, Monday-Friday

 

Referral Details

Referral can be from GP, other wards and departments, consultant and self referral of patients currently undergoing treatment.

Haematologists - Dr S Rogers, Dr K Davidson, Dr L Mc Lintock, Dr P Williamson
Oncologists - Dr A Bowman, Dr L Wall and Associate Specialist Dr Stelin Gilbert
