Childsmile
Childsmile is a programme to improve the dental health of children in Scotland.
This page contains information about the Childsmile programmes, how your child can benefit from participating and how you can help your child to grow healthy teeth.
Funded by the Scottish Government, Childsmile has four main elements:
- A Core Toothbrushing programme
- Childsmile Practice, which promotes oral health from birth
- Childsmile Nursery, which provides preventive programmes for children in Nursery
- Childsmile School, which provides a school based dental service for children aged 4 and upwards.
