We’re listening - How to give us your feedback

We don't want you to go away feeling unhappy with any aspect of your hospital experience. If you would like to talk to us about your experience, then please speak with the nurse, doctor or professional in charge.

There are lots of other ways in which you can give feedback about your time with us.  Please use the tabs on the left hand side of this screen to feedback to us using any of these methods which are outlined below. 

You can contact the Patient Relations Team to talk or to leave feedback with them.

You can use our Comments, Concerns, Compliments & Complaints form whatever your feedback – positive or negative. See below for a link to this form.

You can also feedback via our partner external agencies.

Patient Advice & Support Service (PASS)  An independent service which provides free, accesible and confidential information, advice and support to patients, their carers and families about NHS healthcare.

Patient Opinion - Patient Opinon is an independent site about your experiences of UK health services, good or bad.

General Medical Council - If you have a serious complaint against one of our doctors, that you feel has not been satisfactorily handled locally, then you can raise this with the General Medical Council.  They have an online complaints form for patients and the public to make raising concerns quicker and simpler. Ther have also published a Patients’ Help guide with information about the complaints process, case studies and contacts for support organisations all over the UK.

Public Sector Ombudsman

Under the NHS Complaint Procedure, if a you as a patient are unhappy with the our response to your complaint, you have the right to approach the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman to have your complaint reviewed.
