The hard work and dedication of clinical and support staff from across the Kingdom in has been recognised at NHS Fife’s annual staff awards ceremony.
Around 150 people attended the NHS Fife Staff Awards 2024, which were hosted at the beautiful Glen Pavilion in Dunfermline.
Individuals and teams were recognised across ten categories, with each of the finalists selected after being nominated by their fellow colleagues. A panel of judges from across the organisation whittled down each category to three finalists and the eventual winner.
The winners of 2024 NHS Fife Staff Award winners are:-

⭐ Team of the Year (Support and Professional Services) - LIMS Implementation Project Team
⭐ Staff Health and Wellbeing - Lynn Sutherland
⭐ Team of the Year (Primary Care) - Community Palliative Care Team - Outreach
⭐ Inspiration - Stuart Main
⭐ Rising Star - Yasmine Morgan
⭐ Lifetime Achievement - Andy Ballantyne
⭐ Unsung Hero - Kelly Tose
⭐ Chair's Award - Urology Cancer Nurse Team
NHS Fife Chief Executive, Carol Potter, said of the event;
“I want to offer a huge congratulations to both our nominees and our award winners.
“We heard some truly inspiring stories during our awards ceremony and saw countless examples of healthcare staff in Fife going above and beyond to ensure we offer the best and most effective care for patients.
“While we come together once a year to shine a light on these efforts and recognise those involved, the reality is that we have staff working 365 days a year in healthcare sites and in communities across Fife, working hard to provide patients with the highest possible standards of care.
