Storm Babet is forecast to bring exceptionally wet conditions across parts of eastern Scotland on Thursday and Friday (19 and 20 October), with very strong winds in the northern half of the country. A period of wet weather is set to continue across Scotland through Saturday, 21 October.

Patient transport
Due to the effects of Storm Babet, patient transport services will not be available.
Outpatient clinics
All outpatient clinics will still be going ahead tomorrow (20th October 2023).
However, if you can not get to your appointment, please contact the appointments team to reschedule your appointment for a later date.
Patients and families should continue to follow travel advice.
Vaccinations programme
Due to adverse weather conditions and road conditions the drop-in flu clinic for 2 to 5 year olds scheduled today in St Andrews Community Hospital has been cancelled. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and will publicise the rescheduled date as soon as we can.
All other vaccination clinics are currently operating as normal, however this will be kept under review as we monitor the impact of storm Babet. Patients should follow travel advice.
