Our successful applicant will work alongside a multi-disciplinary team to carry out holistic assessments, informing the delivery of care and treatment within a biopsychosocial model.
As part of your role, you will have to have an understanding of the complex relationship between physical and mental health and work with patients, their loved ones, and a variety of professionals to achieve recovery and positive outcomes for individuals. In line with local and national mental health and dementia strategies, there are a number of exciting service changes underway, with opportunities for professional development to enhance care provision and prioritise the knowledge and skills growth of individuals.
You will require excellent communication skills be able to work autonomously, as well as flexibly within the team. You must be able to provide support and mentorship to junior staff members and student nurses.
