Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who enjoys technical challenges and who can use communication skills to make a difference to patient care and safety.
We'd ideally like to hear from you those with a creative and imaginative mindset. We deliver and design simulation-based education to give healthcare staff and medical students the opportunity to learn, rehearse and perfect clinical skills and team-working. You will be an integral member of the team that supports the technical and administrative service provision.
Although based mainly at the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy, you will work with healthcare professionals, students and other faculty across multiple sites, and you should be able to travel to different sites within NHS Fife if required.
You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as enjoy problem-solving and troubleshooting technical challenges. You should be competent in the use of Microsoft Office as part of administration duties of the role and can move and set up large pieces of equipment needed for education. Training will be offered in the use of simulated manikins, task trainers, AV equipment and other mechanical or electronic devices used within this role.
